OK. We just got back from Wal-Mart, right? We went just to get Splenda and Tylenol PMS. That’s all! We ended up spending like $173...once again, Mom said from now on she’s sending me by myself to grocery shop -.-

Anyway, I was trying to kill time while Mom checked out birthday cards. Long story short, I ended up checking out the “2 for $11” shelf. I bought The War, The Pagemaster, Waterworld, and Mazes and Monsters…Ok. The War is an older movie that is really sad, but I enjoyed it because it was one of those ‘real’ movies. I mean, you can so see this happening, and the end is kinda happy. Plus it’s a ‘young Elijah Wood’ movie.

The Pagemaster has been a favorite forever. Besides that, where else can you find Patrick Stewart, Whoopy Goldberg, Leonard Nimoy, and Christopher Lloyd all together (if anyone says Star Trek I’ll take my phazers off stun)? And I consider it one of Macaulay Culkin’s last good movies. I mean, there’s the 2 Home Alones, Richie Rich, and this, and that’s about it.

Waterworld I’ve only seen half of. And I liked it, thanks oh so much! Don’t ask why though...I just thought it was cool. That’s all I have to say.

What I really wanted to post about was Mazes and Monsters. Has anyone else seen this movie? I hadn’t seen it before today, so I was totally buying it blindly. But it kinda had a D&D ring to it, so I figured I’d get it. And I kinda got that it was old, but I wasn’t sure how old. Then I watched it...man...it’s really old. It’s older than Ghostbusters. It’s older than The Goonies. It’s.../tries to think of something older than that that she likes...it’s obviously older than Mortal Kombat (speaking of which! Mortal Kombat: Devastation is set to come out in 2006! Yippie!). It was really weird actually. I can’t really get too into it without giving the whole damn thing away. Let’s just say, it’s a movie where RPG goes way too far.

Idol was funny as all get-up as usual. I cannot wait for tomorrow night and for hell-week to start. I certainly can’t wait to see demon-boy get eliminated. I think that was him I saw in the preview for tomorrow night that was jumping right off the stage onto the judge’s little stand. Freaky...

Anyway...I suddenly have a huge yen to research more Mortal Kombat stuff. I’ll do that while Supernatural is taping. Later!

Your Social Dysfunction:
Normal

Being average in terms of how social you are, as well as the amount of self-esteem you have, you're pretty much normal. Good on you.
