Ok, so we’ve finally started moving stuff around and tending to the room makeover situation. Today, as of this morning that is, my room looks like this...

And that’s all there is to say about that so far. Mom and I are just waiting on Dad to tell us where the painter’s tape and kiltz are in the shed…There may not be anything else happing in here for another 3 or 4 days...Later!

Ok, maybe I’m getting ahead of myself, and I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned this before but here it goes.

When I decided to paint my room, I went on a color that was a very light sage color and choose one a few shades darker for accents. Well, the ‘accents’ are going to be Japanese Kanji. I intend to paint the whole room (save the trim, baseboards, doors, etc) in the very light sage, then make stencils of the Kanji and use the dark sage to compliment them.

Cool, no? So, how’s the room coming so far?...It’s halted. We started taping everything off after we’d gone to town and bought kiltz and all the tiny paint rollers we’d need along with the painter’s tape, then Mom realized that it was far too late to actually start kitlzing. She said if we did, I wouldn’t be able to sleep in here tonight. The kiltz fumes would aggravate my sensitive sinuses. But the blue tape is now around almost every part of the room we could get to. The bed is moved almost all the way to the other end of the room, making things a little uncomfortable.

Boy, whenever we moved that bed it was a fiasco. I mean, Mom had to go and cook, so she left me to start the taping. I found that I’m surprisingly good at taping. But then I went to do the base boards and the dust! Holy Quadrupeds! It looked like a massive dust-bunny on dust-jack-o-lope war had occurred right under my bed, and all the casualties had bled out dust on my base boards. It was crazy. I’m still a little wigged out by that.

But, anywho. Mom and I decided we’d get up around 7:30 tomorrow and eat and start kiltzing while we could. Aunt Batty’s coming over to pick Mom up around 10ish so that gives us plenty of time to get everything we need done.

In other news; City of Heroes sent me a news letter with what looks like a Santa Claus Super Hero guy flying around in a jet pack. /glare. The fact that they sent me something I could deal with, but saying how all characters will get a free jet pack. Why’d they have to do that!? It’s bad enough I’m pining away for it now, but then they send me this news letter and I’m like having a coronary because the desire to get on and play is even grater!..........I’m such a looser.

Well, I guess that’s all for tonight. I bet I’ll be soar in the morning from all this moving and shaking (with extreme emphasis on the moving part). Goodnight.
