Yo, minna. Wasabi!

Heh. Just in case you’re wondering...I’m not asking you for wasabi -.- Whenever the ‘Wassup’ commercials came out, my Twin-san([profile] animequeen) mentioned that Wasabi and Wassup sounded alike, and she thought it’d be cool if they showed Japanese people yelling “Wasabi!”...so now we great each other by saying “Wasabi!” ...Yeah.

ok so tonight. We were actually busy tonight, which is odd. Nights are usually a little busy and then we hit 7:30 and nothing happens till around 8:30, and we might get one customer. We didn’t get a chance to start tending to stuff till 8:30 because of the people. The Holly had forgotten about something Mr. D had asked us to do, so we had to scramble to get it done, and at 8:55 a customer walked in the door. Holly was like, “Son of a bitch!” and she stomped off to tell the lady, politely I might add, that we were going to be closed in less than 5 minutes. She literally followed the lady around till she’d gotten everything, and then checked her out.

Also, I got my first 2 checks from Hancock’s tonight! One’s a little over $140 and the other is a little over $120...so I’m not quite as po’ any mo’. Heh...I was thinking of buying myself something from Amazon...but then I decided against it. I need to save that money. I do have bills to pay (my beloved car!), and I don’t expect my parents to be too happy about bailing me out too much.

My Dad and I always used to joke about it though. For 2+ years I didn’t have money problems. In fact, I hoarded up my money, spending it quite frugally. More often than not, my parents would borrow money from me instead of the other way around. We used to call it “The Bank of Tracie” and Dad would joke about how much interest I charged on loans.

He’d be like, “I need to borrow about $20 from you, baby.”

And I would be like, “Well all right, but just remember, by next Monday, that $20 turns into $30.” And he would pretend to sway.

You know for some odd reason I started watching Sailor Moon Super an hour before I had to leave...I got through the first 2 tapes too. Super is where they introduce all the Outer Senshi (Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, and Saturn). Although I always worry about how they make things seem...it’s not entirely accurate...Like for instance, Uranus is named after the Roman god of the sky, right? Well one of Uranus’s attacks is “World Shaking”...that implies earth dominance...wtf? Also, Sailor Pluto is considered the guardian of time, while the dreaded Sailor Saturn (my fave) is considered the warrior of death and rebirth...another wtf considering Pluto would be more fit to be a warrior of death and rebirth as Pluto was the Roman god of death and the underworld, the equal of the Greek Hades. Saturn was the god of agriculture, so really, she should probably have Uranus’s “World Shaking” attack...

And I’ve gone off and gotten obsessive and ranty about the whole subject. Honestly! Oh well. Ok, so my plans for tonight include:

-Go take a shower
-Go walk Fred for the night
-Watch Sailor Moon Supers till I get sleepy.

And that’s it. Goodnight, Mina.

(In case anyone was wondering...Mina means Everyone in Japanese...just thought that might make things easier for those non-anime watchers of you out there.)
