Beware, for I am: Nostalgic

Thunder! We’ve got thunder people! It’s wondrous! If only it’d rain! The ground here has been parched and cracked. The smaller bayous have all but dried up, and the egrets and other marsh foul have had to go further out to the bigger bodies of water. It’s so depressing. I long for those days when I used to hear the steady rain all day long. I miss it...

One good thing that did happen today. I finally got my desk at work. They came in and assembled it around 3. It’s pretty and shiny and nice. Now I can get a couple of nice picture frames and put some pics of Mom&Dad and me and Reiko and Chibi and make the place actually look like someone human works there.

I gave my dad his Birthday/Fathers day gift tonight. His birthday is on the 17th which is right before Father’s day so I always get him two things. I got him a $100 gift certificate to Lowe’s and I’m taking him to see RV tomorrow for his Father’s Day present. 7:35 sharp, I know where he lives so he won’t be late.

Ohh...that thunder is getting really bad…it sounds like Sumo wrestlers are throwing down on the tin outside or something. I’d better log of. ‘Night!
