It’s all rattgirl’s fault. This might actually be tough...Sure, there are things that I enjoy that aren't orthodox or perhaps slightly shameful, but I don't feel guilty about liking stuff...so in the end, if you don't feel guilty ...does that mean you don't have any guilty pleasures? Ah well. I'll just touch on things people say I probably should be slightly embarrassed about.
GUILTY PLEASURES
Ground Rules: The first player of this "game" starts with the topic "5 Guilty Pleasures" and people who get tagged need to write an LJ entry about their 5 Guilty Pleasures as well as state this rule. In the end, you need to choose the next 5 people to be tagged and list their names.
1. Pocky. I can eat Pocky for hours and not tire of it, yet I tend to hoard the stuff...I’ll buy like four packs of it and I’ll tuck it away somewhere till I’ve gone and bought more...just to assure that I still have a huge stash.
2. Manga. I’m not an avid Manga reader, mind you. But I have been loaned manga on several occasions, and each manga I’ve read I’ve liked. I then tend to obsess over it, reading it over and over again, and then adding it to my wish list...even though it’ll take me a while before I buy it.
3. Love stories. I may look like a bite-my-ass type of gal, but I am a sucker for a good romance (one of the reasons I love shojo mango so much). I laugh, I cry, I take pointers that I’ll never use, and in the end I’ll call the entire experience of witnessing this love story (though book, manga, anime, movie, whatever) a wonderful experience.
4. Rap Music. Believe it or not...I do like Rap...I don’t like to listen to it constantly, and I’m pretty damn choosy about which artists and songs I listen to, but when I find a rap song I like, I tend to memorize and hum/sing/rap it often to whoever will listen.
5. Vin Diesel. Yes, I’m kinda copying, but he’s my guilty pleasure too dammit! I just love the voice, the look the muscles. It’s a great combo and I love watching him act. I have sworn that if ever this book/movie thing I have in my head gets going, I will have him playing someone. Especially if it’s an animated film. His voice would so kick-ass as Deimos my black dragon god of fear, hate, and envy!
