The Smell of Kiltz in the Air

Alrighty! So, today was waking up earlier than usual for me, and I wasn't too thrilled about it. Mom and I both woke up with sore throats / Sinus headaches, so that was great. But after coffee and meds (for me at least), things were a little bit better. We started on the 'bed wall' with the kiltzing today. We did a little bit of the wall that’s next to the window, but just a little, not a lot. We figure Mom has to go somewhere, so there’s no use in rushing this and getting ahead of ourselves. Which is something I’m really good at. It’s just that I plan so much that I get way ahead of myself and then I start making mistakes. So, I just keep reminding myself that small victories are still victories.

Anyway, here’s the latest picture of our progress.

You know it only just occurred to me that this venture is somewhat artistic in nature. After all, it involves painting, color coordinating, decorating etc. So now, I can say that I do some artistic talent. To what degree and how well that talent is portrayed is the concern or question I suppose.

Ok, well I’m off to watch the kiltz dry, have some more coffee, and watch Gilmore Girls. Later.
