Supernatural – Season 4 – Episode 17: It's a Terrible Life

There are really two factors in Supernatural at this point... Dean and Sam. I'm sure everyone will agree that this was all about Dean. Sam really rebelled against ...whatever it is. I remember thinking that whatever did this didn't seem overly malicious... just very powerful....and I enjoyed it all :D

Srsly, I can see why this would be a test for Dean, him being the big boss making more money.... but with Sam's job? Come on! Of course he's gonna want to leave it behind!

No matter what job he's in, no matter what universe .... Sam has dreams. Guess there really are some things you can't escape.

Dean telling Sam he over-shares is so funny.... because he always does...and he always expects everyone else to be as sharing.

It took me half the episode to put their last names together. Dean's last name is Smith and Sam's is Wesson ^..^ s'very nice!

O..O It's like The Happening ... people don't just kill themselves, they find inventive ways to do it. Engh, I may never eat popcorn again either >..<

Sam: Did you... see a ghost?! Dean: I was freaking out! <..< Never thought I'd hear those words in that sequence from these two...

Dean: So, you're telling me that your dreams are special visions and you're some kind of psychic? Sam: ...no, that'd be nuts. LAWLZ! XD

God, but I love how Sam says stuff and Dean keeps responding with "Right?!" so eagerly ^..^ It's like he feels like a freak and when he realizes he's not the only one, it makes him happy :3

Yay! Ghostfacers! God but I love those two. They're like Space Ghost... so made of Fail, they actually win :D The fact that they reference Dean and Sam while Dean and Sam are watching their videos for help...funny as hell.

Dean: Where do we even get a gun!? <..< lol

I've heard of elevator tension...but I'm definitely making sure there's no vengeful spirits in a building before riding an elevator from now on >..< bleh that was nasty. Sam's quivering reply to Dean asking if he's ok was a nice way to bring it back :) Thanks for that, otherwise it'd been just bleh o..o

If I see one more Twilight commercial, I may just scream! I mean, ok. I like Twilight; I love Twilight; I want more of Twilight..... but don't force the only thing you have that's currently new down my throat >..> Could do without the 90210 commercials too

Oh.. Gloves... that explains the electro-hand ghost I guess.

I love how when ghosts die, the thing they're attached to (if it is a thing) erupts in blue flame :3 I wubs bluuuue.

Dean joking that they'd be like the Ghostfacers.... O..O now that's a scary thought. And "You don't wanna go fighting ghosts without any health insurance." is perhaps the best quote I've ever heard :D Oh! Mad love to the Super-Wiki for linking the GhostFacers web site. I had no idea they had one XD!!!

I love that everything from previous episodes is incorporated here as not-so-subtle hints and all. Sam doesn't mention anything about family or anything, but the fact that Dean's family is Bob and Ellen and his little sister is Jo (which would probably make Jo a little crestfallen... I think the subtext in there is obvious) is extremely cool. Oh, and I nearly died laughing when Sam said his old girl friend Madison's phone number was an animal hospital. Guess she's a dog lover :D

Sam smacking down that phone was the most awesome thing I've seen all season. And he didn't just own it, he killed it. Srsly.... Sammy's scored some serious points there. My hero.

Dean: My God am I hungry! awwww, poor baby ^..^

Thank you, God (and whatever writer thought it up) for Zachariah. Sure, he doesn't seem as hugable as Castiel, but he's obviously smart. I mean, that was some great reverse psychology. And evidently he likes to decoupage. Creative Angels FTW :3

I can't really talk about the preview for the next episode... I mean, it never pays because you never really know what's going to happen.... Still, why don't we have Supernatural horror/suspense/action/romance novels? They look awesome ^..^

This episode was so necessary -..- If last week was the crucible, this was was definitely the resurrection. I was very concerned how they could possibly rally and regroup. This might be just what they needed. I know I needed it =..= So yeah... thanks :) Once again, I am back to my usually “I can’t wait for next week!” Status.
