msmoon | Supernatural – Season 4 – Episode 1 : Lazarus Rising

Ok, so, with Gustav kicking local cable’s ass, I wasn’t able to watch the first episode of Supernatural. I decided to go ahead and download it on iTunes, only because I would otherwise not see it. I have no intention of continuing on this affair with iTunes =..= at least…not for TV. Anyway! My thoughts are a bit scattered concerning the whole episode, but I’ll go ahead and give it a try.

Intro was awesome! At first I was like, ‘omg, it’s like the crow or something.’ but later on I totally understood!

Dean waking up in the grave………….O..O’ Freaky! But it does sorta harken back to ...well...every show in which people came out of a grave. I mean, the first thing you see, is Dean's hand reaching up out of the ground...

I was on edge during the whole gas store scene...I kept thinking, "Stop fooling around! Something's gonna happen!" ...boy, but something did. And the parts where he discovers that he has a hand print burned onto his body? I remember jokingly thinking "...you got touched by an angel." I had no idea o..o

Nooooooo’s!!! Bobby! Sam! Don’t kill Dean! Not after he’s just gotten back!!!

Uh...yeah...sooo.....Ruby. /clears throat. Yeah. Was the girl in the hotel room Ruby? Was she just covering for the fact that she was with Sam still? Did we really have to see her in her undies? I don't think it adds to her acting credentials if we see her in her undies =..=' I swear, I think it's the same girl that plays as the new incarnation of Ruby....but...uh, I was distracted. I'm so confused. I mean, I was totally thinking that was Ruby. But either way, I knew she wouldn’t leave Sammy by his lonesome very long =..=

Psychics....they never have it easy =..= That poor Pammy... I mean, I'm very fond of my eyesight...so I was so sympathetic towards her.

.....Dean bitch-slapped a demon? AWESOME! Damn!Snap! You go on boy, wit yo bad self! Though, I gotta say, what happened to those demons later on in the episode .....that has to be the first time since Casey, in Sin City, I've actually felt sorry for a demon. I mean, that chick was really hurting. And there's really no need for torture, right? But they were probably looking for Castiel, and well...

Finally! Ain’t it about time God got some representation in Supernatural? Seriously. I have been saying all along that I wish they'd do an episode that had something from the good side of the Supernatural universe. It didn't have to be all Godly, just somethng that wasn't evil and/or a killer or...whatever. Surprised me though, since I wasn’t expecting an angel to bring Dean back to life…Of course, now I’m a tad bit anxious. People have a very bad habit of giving God a bad wrap…please be kind, Kripke. Castiel, you’re the shit!

Lazarus Rising…I dub thee, awesome! Can’t wait for the next one!....but…I hope cable comes back first -..-
