I have a new possession which will help me with a big problem that I've been feeling very keenly lately. It has to do with Sherlock and Dr. Who and a lot of other much-loved things.

Opinions: It goes without saying that movies based on books pale in comparison to their book counterparts… but, there are times when a movie can be pretty epic in their own way apart from their books. This…is not one of those times. The Percy Jackson books are epic. They’re legendary. They’re every word we use to describe things that are so great that we haven’t really invented a word for them… But this movie was rushed and misinterpreted. Not only that, but instead of following Rick Roirdan’s books, they insert villains where there are none and leave ones out that are perfectly valid. There’s no mention of Ares OR Kronos. And don’t get me started on the portrayal of Hades, Persephone and the Underworld. Oh, and Clarisse? Yeah, they took Annabeth and Clarisse and squashed them together. I guess it’s just too much to hope that Disney can actually portray something accurately.
